The price of Victory
I slash with my sword and limbs fall to the ground.
The countryside is covered with those I've felled,
and the black ground is soaked in blood.
I close my eyes, and still I see the red fires of fury.
So I kill again, and I keep killing until the end.
Now all is silent and I am alone among the dead.
I won and I am still alive, but inside it feels like
I'm also dead.
