Seventeen years
To the day
You stole from me something that can never be replaced
My innocence
Viciously.
Violently.
You violated me
in the worst way.
You left me unconscious
Bruised...
Bleeding...
I was so small.
Four days after my eleventh birthday
Screaming...
Scared...
Your face is etched into my mind
The alcohol on your breath
The stubble on your chin
The words you spoke
Torment me in my sleep
Still...
Scarred...
They never caught you
How many others were there?
Was I the only one?
questions...
Unanswered...
Terrified that our paths will one day cross again
But I'm not scared OF you
I'm scared FOR you
To the day
You stole from me something that can never be replaced
My innocence
Viciously.
Violently.
You violated me
in the worst way.
You left me unconscious
Bruised...
Bleeding...
I was so small.
Four days after my eleventh birthday
Screaming...
Scared...
Your face is etched into my mind
The alcohol on your breath
The stubble on your chin
The words you spoke
Torment me in my sleep
Still...
Scarred...
They never caught you
How many others were there?
Was I the only one?

Terrified that our paths will one day cross again
But I'm not scared OF you
I'm scared FOR you
