That girl
And so she sits, staring into space,
her once beautiful smile has now been replaced,
by that vacant looks she has all the time,
she talks to no one- why is that such a crime?
Her pain goes unnoticed as she screams inside,
her silent calls for help still being denied.
A tear rolls slowly down her face,
she's trying to picture a better place.
She feels she is in this all alone,
her thoughts and her actions still go unknown.
And so one day, she'll slip away,
it won't matter to them anyway.
But maybe when she's gone, they'll finally see,
what they did to that girl and that girl is me...
