Fate in the balance
cynical smile upon a frowning face
peeking through the pearly gates
feet smoldering on temptations path
bearing scars of living fast
banished path I now face
peculiar world this place
Peace, love and harmony
lost souls a in false prophecy
wings visioned of freely dreaming
pinned hopes of escaping reality
just wet feathers drenched in light
hidden strings that control your flight
golden palaces in satin fields
controlled boundaries concealed
finally free from confines of the mind
to a captured soul is what you will find
death awaiting as its themed brochure
selling limited time to re-insure
opening your wallet of belief
paying into a world of deceit
I am going back to my unbarred prison
the truth as my gateway of freedom
I have been casted to the blackened skies
charred truth tastes better than sweet lies
this fate bargained for you with no choice
restoring balance the unheard god with no voice
waiting for you the day that you were born
To give his gift of halo or horn
peeking through the pearly gates
feet smoldering on temptations path
bearing scars of living fast
banished path I now face
peculiar world this place
Peace, love and harmony
lost souls a in false prophecy
wings visioned of freely dreaming
pinned hopes of escaping reality
just wet feathers drenched in light
hidden strings that control your flight
golden palaces in satin fields
