Couple's Poem-Winter

Beneath this ocean of a sky with its clouds and jet streams like foam and shorelines
Floated an indescribable raindrop frozen in snowetry
The crystalline flake fell onto my lashes reminding me to breathe before becoming
asphyxiated by the chill winter air that concaved my lungs in such brisk thickness.

Every corner of the world, or at least the places I witness daily. Buckled at their knees in defeat. Winter is death and its skeletal hand has weilded once more it's scythe. Permitting to all that dare stand in its cleaving path.  A lifetime supply of afterlife.

After time leashes onto the grips of the beholder, the white catastrophe bleeds into the wet ground
Drinking the poison, the earth sips the immortal drips to every last drop selfishly
Leaving none for human kind
We must all suffer the side effects and eventually be consumed by the porous ground of the earth
As it revolves the system and evolves species unbeknownst to our time
Again and again until time looses grip of the murderous plot to succumb our world to damnation
Every sonorous tick and tock chiming and echoing throughout the innards of our eternal clock. Until we are fed to the earth. But to encase a soul. It will take a great deal more than dirt.
For the souls can never be trapped
They are the most free energy of this planet
Nothing to control them not even time
They can fly anywhere they wish
With no concepts to stop them
No worries to havoc any presence
Endlessly they travel like nomads
Exploring this universe like all mortals dare to dream
To the infinite rims of the galaxy
In an extravagant elegance
