The Green Douglas Fir Tree

The green Douglas fir tree so lush and fine,
leaving behind, the fresh minty aroma, and taste of pine
The Fir Tree swings, in the gentle December breeze
blowing the white fluffy snow gently against the tree.
The warm evening sun, casting a shadow, on the tree
giving it a gentle warm comfort of ease.
The soft gentle breeze continues to blow against the tree
and the aroma of the pine, flows with ease.
The soft gentle breeze continues whirl and wheeze
until it scatters it needles, in the December Eve spreading its seeds among the other patch of trees.
The green Douglas Fir Tree so lush and fine
has grown so beautiful through out its life time.
In this December Eve, the tree is perfectly fine
then you see a machine, not looking so kind.
The rumbling machine came streaking on by,
and the the tree began to wilt and started to die.
The Green Douglas Fir Tree, so lush and so fine,
always stayed beautiful though out its time
until that day he was cut for a dime.
