sonnet 67
sonnet 67
3/8/13
Fingers flicker across the blank page
stealing a glance at the note being writ
raindrops fall, smothering words of age
when reading this scroll its best if they sit
it reads “fifteen years ago I was left,
They took away from me my dignity
Perhaps you shall see me better in death
where I shall haunt you for eternity
I’ll take away from thee what they did I
with guilt from their actions, redemption sought
While reading this note the mother did cry
as the father loosened the ropes dead knot
oppressing wreaks havoc on all
until, finally, comes deaths call
