Ladies and Gentlemen

I do not claim to be a lady
Nor am I a tramp
But I do demand respect
But most can't handle that

Do not come up to me
With empty words and phrases
Spitting game
Pick up lines
Please those things are so generic

I want some originality
Give me creativity
Show me something new
Show me that I'm different to you

Do not lust at my shape
Do not compliment my face
Do not talk about my eyes
Do not try and touch my thighs
Do not tell me that you love me
With lustful breath
I've been here before
I've heard all these words

Talk about my intelligence
Tell me you love my thoughts
Lust over my mind, my words, my work
And my body there after is yours

Do not tell people I am yours
Or you've had that before
Because you've felt my tender lips
Because you've held me once before

I walk around and people stare
That Latin girl with the shape and long hair
Her full lips and seductive hips
I've been hearing all this since grade 6

You're falling for the surface
Not for what's under this
I have thoughts and talents
Search for what others don't have
Not for what everyone sees

Yes you see me body
The initial attraction
But take time to seduce my mind
Take time to show me
You're not like all of them
You're not just using lines

Treat me like a lady,
You'll be a gentlemen
And I promise once you have won over,
My mind, my soul. My body will follow
We will no longer be a gentleman and his lady
But in the privacy of our own
I'll show you the things no one else has known
