That Night
The night we met I was not looking for anything but fun.
But with our first kiss goodbye, I knew that love had just begun.
“Love at first sight does not exist” I often hear them say.
I have to chuckle to myself because I once felt that way.
When something so incredible happens just by chance
I have to wonder if it’s real or a mere happenstance.
After all the years I still don’t know what brought us together that night.
I just close my eyes and think of you, of how you felt so right.
