The Moon Can Be A Bitch
With my heart being weighed down like a sinking ship,
I jumped.
Not knowing where I would land or if I would live.
Just knowing there was no other way.
So I took one last breath and I jumped.
I felt my spine tingle
My legs went numb.
My soul screamed.
I knew I was going to die,
So why not embrace death?
I struggled to gaze up at the moon,
And I did.
We locked eyes just for a moment.
Seconds felt like life times.
Life times reminded me I had a void
In my chest.
She was watching me drown
With a smirk on her face.
To her it was all a game.
To me it was my life.
