Cancer
Effecting not only where it dwells
It wraps its nasty grip on everyone around
It is a battle
A fight like no other
It rears its disgusting boldness
When you don’t expect it
Surprised
Dishearten is more like it
It kills the very being of a person
Use to be strong and active
Now, no will to live
Cancer
Sucks

This is a poem full of truth. you did well capturing this.... my only comment is that your last line doesnt seem to fit...

Well your piece is very lovely. not the subject i mean, because with this particular subject, there is nothing lovely or good about it... but your emotion in this was what I loved.

Great poem, I've had members in my family who were diagnosed with cancer so I can say for sure even though I've never had it, it sucks!!! It sucks eggs!
