scumbag swag
I'm a prize fucking catch
With my worn-out jeans
And my worn-out hat
Take you out to eat
You can have anything you want
As long as it's off the dollar menu
I see you lookin' at me
With my scruffy beard
And my flannel cut-off shirt
$20 in my wallet
Bag of sunshine in my pocket
An' a bag of blue jolly ranchers
Stop an' get a bottle of Popov
An' I'll show you a good time
'Cuz I got that scumbag swag
Take you out to a bonfire
Some old scrap boards and some old furniture
Sparked up with gas
Maybe cruise down an' ol' dirt road
In my '84 Chevy
Get ourselves lost in the middle of nowhere
With my worn-out jeans
And my worn-out hat
Take you out to eat
You can have anything you want
As long as it's off the dollar menu
I see you lookin' at me
With my scruffy beard
And my flannel cut-off shirt
$20 in my wallet
Bag of sunshine in my pocket
An' a bag of blue jolly ranchers
Stop an' get a bottle of Popov
An' I'll show you a good time
'Cuz I got that scumbag swag
Take you out to a bonfire
Some old scrap boards and some old furniture
Sparked up with gas
Maybe cruise down an' ol' dirt road
In my '84 Chevy
Get ourselves lost in the middle of nowhere

Haha. Always great to read a fellow scumbag. I'd like to think that our charming personalities could overcome that dollar menu stigma. A cheap dinner could become a cheap breakfast, if'n ya play your cards right...it's all in the swagger...

Have to say, I'm the kinda person that would much rather have a bonfire than a house-party. I almost didn't publish this one, but I'm happy I did. You humble me once again with your presence.

Haha, just goes to show, you don't have to have alot of money to show a girl a good time. It's all in the swagger, as Butcherscraps pointed out. Thanks for stopping by, and sharing your insights.

Thanks, really glad you enjoyed it. It started out as something I scribbled down right after I stopped at McDonald's, oddly enough, and then decided to make a stop at a liquor store. I really didn't think it would get nearly as much attention as it has. Anyways, I'm rambling again, as I often do. Stay tuned, I plan to write more somewhat like it. :)
