this took a few reads to get into. The first verse is ok (could do with a re-working) and the third verse (beginning - and when the sky...) wasn't in the same length or style as the first. The second verse I have commented on below. You can easily make this second verse work better by using similar opening lines of each line from the first verse.

(I want you) when the sky fades to black.
Yeah.
(I crave your heart during the lightning crack)
I can't wait to see you soon
But for now I'll sing this tune.
Song lyrics need to work with tempo...but adjusting the lines as i have done (these aren't perfect, just for example) the lyrics will fit seemlessley with the music.
"I need you baby, all the time.
Yeah
I need you cause' you are the beat in my rhyme"
the above (verse), would work much better as a bridge...to be sung before the chorus.
You have the makings of a great lyric here, just needs re-working taking into account the music and tempo you want to use, otherwise it just becomes a poem.
