Last Moon of Autumn

I seen the last full moon of autumn
            Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown

            I got blistered bloodied fingers
Trying to help me tie my shoes
            I got blistered bloodied fingers
And there’s nothing I can do

I seen the last full moon of autumn
            Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown

My best friends a black cat at midnight
Call him spot on ink blot crawly Jim
My best friends a black cat at midnight
And he don't answer to a thing

I seen the last full moon of autumn
            Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown

I lost your picture and can't find it
            Looked all over the place
I lost your picture and can't find it
It's what you call a paper chase

I seen the last full moon of autumn
            Dying, sinking down
I said there ain’t no use in crying
I came this way to watch it drown

            Walking down a dirty ally
Is all I know how to do
            Walking down a dirty ally
            After murdering the moon
