To and fro and back and forth,
Pushing and pulling away,
Only to come back together again
Before truly separating.
We move in time together,
Sometimes towards,
Other times away from,
A delicate and graceful dance.
As painful as it can be,
I am as bound to you as you are to me,
Forever entwined with each other
In our lovers' dance.
