Can't blame you for trying
Shit ...... I know what I gave you,
I know you dying!
Crying, mad at yourself for lying
& not carrying out all those empty promises.
Should of appreciated it when you had it.
I want to be loved, protected, understood,
respected, cared for, appreciated NATURALLY
without force or hesitation.
I don't want to be taken for granted.
I want to be treated like a queen.
I want to be someones drug, motivation, purpose & priority.
Now you can't stand the sight of the error in the mirror
cuz you know he's the one.
The one responsible for ripping out your broken heart.
Do you like that feeling?

The fascinating aspect of this poem for me is that one can take both figurative and literal meanings from your words. The reader's mind can be very active if she/he choses.
