Candy Heart
I force all my pain inward
watch it upon my face
and feel my pain.
I want you to hurt as you watch
me writher in pain.
As I cut myself with razors
and let the blood pour into
a puddle at my feet.
I want you to feel my pain and more.
My heart bleeding out
and shriveling into a size no bigger
than a black stone.
I rip it out and watch your
horrified face as I take my razor
and one more deep stroke against
my throat and black out.
My heart, so small it would be mistaken
for candy.
And swallowed down into your
stomach, where it would be dissolved
by your toxic acids for ten years
or more.
A long time ago you told me
"Eat your heart out," only meant as
a joke now reality.
What say you now?
watch it upon my face
and feel my pain.
I want you to hurt as you watch
me writher in pain.
As I cut myself with razors
and let the blood pour into
a puddle at my feet.
I want you to feel my pain and more.
My heart bleeding out
and shriveling into a size no bigger
than a black stone.
I rip it out and watch your
horrified face as I take my razor
and one more deep stroke against
my throat and black out.
My heart, so small it would be mistaken
for candy.
And swallowed down into your
stomach, where it would be dissolved
by your toxic acids for ten years
or more.
A long time ago you told me
"Eat your heart out," only meant as
a joke now reality.
What say you now?
