A Confession

I've taken a break from writing
 to reevaluate the confidence I once had in me
in my later writings I lost
passion to write with true feelings
 forcing feelings that didn't fit
 rather than speaking from my own experience
 because I only started writing to release the stress
I had with every poem written
over the years was me leaking emotions
 never realizing I was transforming them into a positive message
 from the negative energy that was bottled up in me
ended up being related events from people
that been in the same situation
 slowly the messages from my writing
 started to spread where people came out with their confessions
 replacing the darkness with light of hope
 patching the wounds with feelings
 finally seeing the truth
 heavenly father I'm on my knees
 hands together this is me
coming forward with my confession
