RANDOM THOUGHTS

 I know how it feels when your phone doesn’t ring for a day or two
Those lonely times you feel neglected coz nobody’s is reaching out to you
On social networks you’ve got thousands of friends only there for chats online
And sometimes you wish there was that close friend calling to know if you’re doing fine
And some might just not feel my pains coz they think I’m only trying to rhyme
You don’t how it feels giving so much and having none or little in return
Yes every man gets lonely sometimes; me, myself and I alone boredom is no fun
People tend to be more fascinated by pictures caring less about the frame
Look at me being emotional that other side of me opposing my street game
Quick to judge me by my looks; that tough guy appearance really misleading
Buts there’s nothing as real as being true to yourself coz its lame pretending
Life is a ship and there’s only one captain, me no other does it proper is certain
That’s when the lights are on you, nobody knows how dark it is behind closed curtains
When you are in dire need of just a little attention and true affection
The only being that seems to show you genuine appreciation
With a warm smile is when you in front of a mirror staring at your own reflection
I’ve swallowed a lot of compliments but still I hunger and thirst
Far from the everyday paper chase this feelings for that special one comes first
It’s kinda hard to believe coz the truth sounds boring it’s more fun to lie
It feels like my mouth is mute and my heart is speaking but you don’t listen
You don’t get the picture; you can’t tell if it’s real from the looks in my eyes
Words are infinite expressing my thoughts; this is my impromptu note
As written in the dairy of a lonely man from which I quote
Don’t get it twisted you “may be” right I was only trying to rhyme
I’m most grateful to all my friends whom I’m always on their mind
Both known to me and unknown you always appreciated
Thanks for always keeping in touch I’mma keep tha luv reciprocated
Everybody is important to me I promise never to take friends for granted
Let’s keep it going; coz we’re all we got... U never know.
