Love can be cruel
O
Love can destroy a soul...
But love can restore
And love can mend...

There's no need to pretend...
We have felt both...
I have been demolished...
I have been destroyed...
I have also felt overjoyed..

Love can be dark...
So dark it leaves you thinking you're blind...
Love can be light...
It can make your world so bright

Where you see darkness, I see light...
Where you see light I see darkness...
But that is what makes love beautiful.....

"There's no need to pretend" you say. But I like to pretend. I tell my girlfriend, "If you give me a gun and tell me to rob a bank, I'll do it - just because you tell me to." Of course, i don't mean it. but it sounds sort of romantic to me. Don't mind me, I'm just talking.
