This one's a bit strange, but it's how I'm feeling so deal with it.

What would happen if I never fell in love with you?
How would our lives turn out if we never met?
Would we know what was missing?
Would loving anybody else feel wrong?

I'm not sure if we would know what we're missing,
But I do know that I will never forget.

At first you seemed to be the one I would remember for the following reasons:
You tricked me and teased me and made me believe.
Falling to the ground,
Crying 'till there were no more tears.

But now it all makes sense.
It was your mistake to not see at first,
Like I did.

When I first saw you the first thing I thought was,
"I'm gonna know him and it's gonna be good."

At this point, I'm almost certain that he's mine.
That he will always matter to me,
And I will matter to him.
And I hope he will remember.
