As a single man.

Lord knows my inner pleas
My yearnings for a abundant life and meaning
Which will hopefully make a life one worth living
And quieten the silent mockings echoing from my inner demons

Everyday seems about the same as the last
Monotony dictating every thought and action
A devote slave to routine wondering a predefined path
Quietly holding a candle of hope of some day finding his other half

I did love
Once
I reminisce still
Deeper yet, I reminisce still...

Holding hands as we walk
Giggling and stumbling through the mall
After window shopping for hours long
We would exchange opinions as you strung me along
Kicking and screaming? No. Though I thought it
But inevitably I understood that this was her way of sharing a building our bond

It wasn't about the shoes
Or waiting outside the fitting rooms
Not even her indecisiveness to choose
It was about her commanding all of my attention way past my threshold could

But more importantly gentlemen this is where you aught to listen up
Take out your note pads scribble and memorise this stuff
She only does the things she does
Because she's testing to see how long you hold up
Giving her the attention she craves in abundance
Even when you don't really like doing them much
It shows her that your willing to sacrifice to make her happy, and that's true love.

Bur not all bear the seals of innocence
There are those whom are called bitches and whores with more than good reason
Vile creatures, opening their thighs and wombs to any man who serves their selfish needs

They are the vessels for parasites
Syphilis herpes and HIV
Spreading death to those who dare feed from her sexual desires
Jezabel  therefore is worthy of everything she's likened to

Or,

Maybe I'm just a couple of depths too deep
For shallow women to tread with both feet

Now I look back as a single man
Nothing opens ones eyes quite like retrospect
Bending your point of view each time one looks back
And I only looks back cause I left her back in the past
As I said, reminiscences as a single man

If you've found your soul mate
Consider it a privilege and one which is sacred
For as soul mates the women carries half you rib for all her days
Until she meets you and the two become complete, the bible says

To those who abuse their better halfs
I lash my tongue and tear my robes in disgust of you actions
God made eve from his hands
Therefore what makes thee worthy to raise your hands
Against a woman as if you were acting in Gods capacity

When I dwell upon these things
My heart becomes filled with sorrow and sick
As a single man I can only pray for these women
For I could be the perfect man to them if given to me

But yet you stay
Nursing black and blue eye stains
Crying your tears with nobody to wipe them away
You get belittled when you could easily be a queen if I had things my way

But the again,
Who am I? Just an observant single man
