Lashing Out
The devilish fiend approaches his misguided pawns
At that moment the realization dawns
The ones who he once thought friends
Were the ones who betrayed him in the end
He turns to the nearest
Whom he holds the dearest
Withdraws his blade from its sheath
And beheads the man with no sense beneath
His wrath is unbridled
His malice untamed
The rivers run red with the blood of the shamed
The corpses of thousands stretch out before him
His pride embellishes the thought of his own sin
The cannibalistic nature of the beast
Provides him with such a glorious feast
He spreads out upon them, devours the soma
The air is filled with a rotting aroma
As he looks up, blood on his lip
He sees what happens when his temper slips
The ones he called friends, dead on the ground
Piled up in an unceremonious mound
At that moment the realization dawns
The ones who he once thought friends
Were the ones who betrayed him in the end
He turns to the nearest
Whom he holds the dearest
Withdraws his blade from its sheath
And beheads the man with no sense beneath
His wrath is unbridled
His malice untamed
The rivers run red with the blood of the shamed
The corpses of thousands stretch out before him

The cannibalistic nature of the beast
