These thoughts..
These thoughts won't end...
Not sure how much more I can take...
I am about to break...
I question...
I question if I deserved it..

Why did he treat me that way?...
Why was he so mean...
What did I do to bring the harsh things he would say...
What made him change...

As tears fall..
As I sit with my back against the wall...
I can't help but wonder...
Wonder about it all...

Will these thoughts ever leave..
He brings me pain even in his absence..
The pain goes and comes like an ocean wave...
I feel as though I begin to sink only to be pulled up again...
