Declaration of the Soul
Free at last from the chains of
unwanted understanding
and love how long I have
waited to reclaim
my soul's companion
In the dark I heard your
voice call in my dreams
and in it I searched for the form
whose shadow I could not
touch but there
in the stark black coldness of the dark
I felt you
It was dark no longer and my
heart was awake
for the first time
in a long time that where an eternity
of heartache seemed like
that of a prison
now illuminates a light
before me and I
breathe these moments in
My love I say to you now
that I am adorned
with sacred honor and speechless
conviction
that as I live
I will cherish you for all the days of my life
that neither the heavens up above
or the hellish chasms below
will tear the spirit and flesh
off my bones and seperate us
for this declaration
sets in motion the eve of my
perdition
unwanted understanding
and love how long I have
waited to reclaim
my soul's companion
In the dark I heard your
voice call in my dreams
and in it I searched for the form
whose shadow I could not
touch but there
in the stark black coldness of the dark
I felt you
It was dark no longer and my
heart was awake
for the first time
in a long time that where an eternity
of heartache seemed like
that of a prison
now illuminates a light
before me and I
breathe these moments in
My love I say to you now
that I am adorned
with sacred honor and speechless
conviction
that as I live
I will cherish you for all the days of my life
that neither the heavens up above
or the hellish chasms below
will tear the spirit and flesh
off my bones and seperate us
for this declaration
sets in motion the eve of my
perdition
