Is it so hard to love me
wrap your arms around me
and cuddle me with the warmth of your smile
against my lips
as we kiss fighting for eachothers oxygen
its a constant battle
that often leaves me on my knees
begging for an answer
to this aching need
that has buried itself so deep
so far in my chest
I have to remind myself to breathe
take it easy
its those eyes
those lips
that often tease me
I want to be more than just a memory
I want our souls to be connected
in a way our bodies will not understand
our minds fogged by steam we create
