The Littlest 'Hero'
She ripped away
the cord of life
long before it could
realize it's identity
as the face of innocence
futilely searched for love
peering into the eyes
where darkness housed
a hollow pit of NOTHING...
spending the decades
selfishly occupying
precious air's supply
though judgement day
has a fated appointment
again innate hatered
rewards a furlough repaid...
cynically while riding in rivers of disgust
as denial runs deeper, and faster than 'sight's seer'
shaded within hideous secrets
buried inside a long corroded shell
disguised as human exposed through
drug induced stupors,
dancing near death's euphoria
a MONSTER, lying in repose...
pale, seemingly lifeless,
yet evil doesn't die quiet
when spitting sickness
into the reality of a lone warrior, fighter,
a savior of love...
she'll not fight this vile MONSTER ALONE...
the demons shall perish
when faced with a power, and a light
that is held within the truth of a embattled heart
and malnourished, yet unsurrendering soul...
the cord of life

realize it's identity
as the face of innocence
futilely searched for love
