Uphill Agian

Treading up a sandy slope
Is never an easy task

Try doing it with three essays
Four books
and five distraught friends
on your back
Pulling you back

Your foot slips when
You feel you had a firm holding

You make a headway but then
Fall behind
And the helping hand that you hoped on
Comes a day too late
You're a day too late

I try to keep treading up hill
Keep struggling through the falls
But every time my foot slips
I wonder if it was worth it at all
