It's still a little way off
As events twist and turn
In this simmering pot of
Fateful journeys and resting
Places.

It's still a little way off
Our hearts becoming fine
Tuned as we rehearse songs
Of feelings returning in from
The cold into the warm arms
Of a true loves embrace.

It's still a little way off
As we understand patience
A little more each day with
Teaching kisses and creative
Snuggles to quench undesired
Impatient thoughts

It's still a little way off
But time never stands still
And thats a good thing x
