A Faded Eulogy
A man I was made to be, I never found and never stopped searching
The man I was created to be, I never found and never stopped pretending
A child in a world of wolves, A rose in a field of thorns
Fading so quickly, Find the strength in me, Bring me to my bitter end
Take me, Don’t let this be the end
Save me, Don’t let this stop again
This song plays endlessly
My prayers in a faded eulogy
In the beginning, I was held to my promises of a day better than now
Yet here I am, On my knees, Eating dirt and crow
In the end, I am held to my grave beneath a fallen sky and falling angels
My demons surround me, Find in me the strength to walk away from this
I am shown my hell in visions, My eyes remain forever opened
Still the images flash across the expanse of my broken mind
The memories repeat and my heaven is held in front of me
Taunting me, You are my savior, Find in me a heart left beating
Don’t go, Remember who we used to be
Don’t leave, Remember how we used to see
Don’t go, Forget all my broken promises
Don’t leave, Forget the betrayed confidence
The man I was created to be, I never found and never stopped pretending
A child in a world of wolves, A rose in a field of thorns
Fading so quickly, Find the strength in me, Bring me to my bitter end
Take me, Don’t let this be the end
Save me, Don’t let this stop again
This song plays endlessly
My prayers in a faded eulogy

Don’t leave, Forget the betrayed confidence
