Dinner is Served
I chewed up your liver
chomped as it glistened
felt the rivulets of hot blood
trickle down my chin
then rasped them away
with my tongue
I selected a kidney
from the pile of your entrails
still steaming
alive to a warm hum
Almost lovingly
I held it in my mouth whole
then bit hard
to savor the moment
the tang of your saltiest fluids
How could I resist
your heart
with its crimson meat
worthy to grace
the table of any king
I'm stuffed now
and tired after all that
charging around
Think I'll take a nap
Under that acacia tree
should be fine
chomped as it glistened
felt the rivulets of hot blood
trickle down my chin
then rasped them away
with my tongue
I selected a kidney
from the pile of your entrails
still steaming
alive to a warm hum
Almost lovingly
I held it in my mouth whole
then bit hard
to savor the moment
the tang of your saltiest fluids
How could I resist
your heart
with its crimson meat
worthy to grace
the table of any king
I'm stuffed now
and tired after all that
charging around
Think I'll take a nap
Under that acacia tree
should be fine
