Comatose Corpse
An aura of thin, un-breathable air accentuates
The simple stagnant solitude
Like locks of long, louse infested hair
Drape disarranged over dying shoulders
Time travels by
Leaving untouched the corpse
Shrouded by shields of silence
Only disturbed by the growth of water deprived moss
Stains of soil and succubus lust
Streak from head down
Like ancient artifacts articulate their age
With weathered and wind driven forces
Kneeling knave of yesteryear
Shriveled mummy of natures creation
Beautiful beyond burnished stone
Remain riled in silent revenge
From life loved to lust in death
Exist in resounding echoes into eternity
One over whom the sun fails to shine
And the moon lets loose unending glow
Condemned to crawl
On leathered hands
Permanently weathered
By time’s sands
Comatose corpse
Under barren trees
Sing songs of sorrow
Bring us to our knees
And we too shall join you
Verily, victims vomiting
In perpetual agony
And turn to stone with an undying heart
Comatose corpse
...
...
Now we are two
The simple stagnant solitude
Like locks of long, louse infested hair
Drape disarranged over dying shoulders
Time travels by
Leaving untouched the corpse
Shrouded by shields of silence
Only disturbed by the growth of water deprived moss
Stains of soil and succubus lust
Streak from head down
Like ancient artifacts articulate their age
With weathered and wind driven forces
Kneeling knave of yesteryear
Shriveled mummy of natures creation
Beautiful beyond burnished stone
Remain riled in silent revenge

And the moon lets loose unending glow
