EVOL

If we're taught    
to love everything including  
our friends and enemies    
then what value does that put    
on Love?    
   
A word ingrained in us    
and held to such a low    
standard, it comes    
In a variety of forms.    
All smoke and mirrors.    
   
Bad for us  in    
every shape or form,    
yet we constantly    
fien for it, as though    
it's the only sole    
purpose of our existence.    
   
We're taught to love over    
and over again until our    
souls become no more and    
are hearts implode.    
First comes pain then    
comes pleasure.    
   
Love is abuse    
     
Love is empty    
   
Love is blind    
   
Love is pain    
   
Love is suffering    
   
Love is deception    
   
Love is a distraction    
   
Love is your demise    
   
Love is birth    
   
Love is entrapment    
   
Love is on repeat
