A very observant poem.
Concise but complete.
You see someone being abused in a relationship and you think: "she only deserves better"
but you are reluctant to interfere or even ask.

It's worse when the victim is your own family. It becomes something you just refrain from interfering into.

It's an on-going self-conflict. But as time goes by you get used to it. I can't beat the daylight out of the other ; I'm a girl and I'm tiny for an 18 year old - haha.
