Goodbye Rose
Soft silky petals caress my fingertips
Touching them to my lips
Inhaling the sweet aroma
Becoming intoxicated
But the tears still begin
They slip outside my eyes
Slither down my cheeks
Drip….drop
Dropping to the white petals
My tears of blood
You inflicted
This rose, this goodbye rose
Now stained with my bloody tears
Touching them to my lips
Inhaling the sweet aroma
Becoming intoxicated
But the tears still begin
They slip outside my eyes
Slither down my cheeks
Drip….drop
Dropping to the white petals
My tears of blood
You inflicted
This rose, this goodbye rose
Now stained with my bloody tears
