Overwhelming

Do I overwhelm you ?

You're excessively committed to
loving my old boring soul
You whisper in my hair
saying you want to stay this way
with me
Your face lights up at my funny faces,
my anger, my creased lines of focus
You disregard my past and wipe
my tears away and say
"Its gonna be alright"

You read my eyes without my permission,
reading deeper into my nightmares
and subconsciously read them aloud at
night with eyes closed
You recite them.
You think I wouldn't know the
lines to my own nightmares ?

I just overwhelm myself, I guess
