The Beginning and the End

She so lets go
that hanging on
was never half the issue

no ledge,
no handle,
no way to stay stable

just one long drop
from point A
to nowhere
along the way

just a sheer leap
from sanity
into the mosh pit
of Heaven

Angels frolic heaped
as tossing wings thrash
undulating
heel dug thrustings

Comrades in Destruction
for all the old miseries
have become a silent region
in the mesospheres
of space

on the outlying resistance
there is death
and the freedom
of being
free

and she,
she is gone
beyond
and her excitement
is what
the Gods of War
and Tranquility
had in mind
when they destroyed
the myths
of how it all began.
