Where was the love
As I reached and I looked;
it’s a fist and I duck
At the alter I panicked our 5 years came unstuck
All that I paid you in sparkling ease,
I’m listening,
I felt you,
hand on heart, on my knees
Tho’ I spilt some blood to pursue in that moment
as I’ve met no one like you, the rest I forget
I’m fearless like you
but with pride that’s been taken;
I’m what you can’t bare,
that terrible unshaken
As we rise and we stretch in homage to the sun,
We can’t kiss, we can't touch & we simply move on
There simply isn't love we need to repress
as I dream and I die, as I am your distress
Tho’ I spilt some blood to pursue in that moment
I was wrong we were dead, all this time I breathed dormant.
it’s a fist and I duck
At the alter I panicked our 5 years came unstuck
All that I paid you in sparkling ease,
I’m listening,
I felt you,

Tho’ I spilt some blood to pursue in that moment
