Senescence

Waltzing on a wave of a ragged river

Focus drops a foot in abyss

And I am drowning in the sum of your life.

I watched you speaking

And traveled the lines

That caress the corners of your eyes

Longing to place the seal of my kiss,

Stop the depth of the etch

And bury this moment

With a handful of time.

Laughter danced so many eves

It has worn and frayed

Shining silk draping skull.

Every imperfection makes the map more accurate.

The story of our life is told all over the body.

Now your scent becomes part of the atmosphere

Your touch having reached every inch of the earth

Those eyes cannot hide the pain creating meteor showers

The ground wears your name

Noduled vocal chords bang the sound of wisdom.
