Gone too soon...

It took
just twenty four hours
for freedom to begin
she searched everywhere
for someone to love
around every bend

never finding what was needed
to nourish within
as yet another life falls silent,
when at only 22, she met her end

found dangling
by phone cord in bathroom,
as time kept on  ticking

sadly, she never knew
nor had the knowledge
n' feelings of love from birth
so how can one contend?

such a sad reality, it shakes the mind,
as the heart's quickly breaking...

now, praying  you are at least
in peace from pain finally...

I say goodbye to you  now my friend...
