The shadows of my past
I have yet to outrun
The scars of your past
Are still trying to heal
You told me
You love me
In the same breath
You told me goodbye
Why do I not get a say?
You say it's all about you,
Yes, I guess it is
It's clear I don't matter
You ignore me for days
Shut out, I'm supposed to guess
Where we stand
I deserve more than this
But I can't bring myself to
Call it quits
So here I sit
Waiting for you to let me in
