In This Room
Its as cold as December
In this empty room with you
The air we breath is heavy
Oh how it burns in our lungs
Afraid to speak what we fear
What if these walls close in on us
But I'm here to stay
I'm here to say
I will be with you
If you want me to
These regrets poured into our hearts
Until they burst from in our chest
Sunk what's left of what we had
Left us standing here alone
Here in this empty room
But I'm here to stay
I'm here to say
I'm not giving up on you
Not even if you asked me to
Even at our worst
I think of the first
Time you took my hand
Fingers interlocked
All our wars we fought
And now here we stand
In this empty room with you
The air we breath is heavy
Oh how it burns in our lungs
Afraid to speak what we fear
What if these walls close in on us
But I'm here to stay
I'm here to say
I will be with you
If you want me to
These regrets poured into our hearts
Until they burst from in our chest
Sunk what's left of what we had
Left us standing here alone
Here in this empty room
But I'm here to stay
I'm here to say
I'm not giving up on you
Not even if you asked me to
Even at our worst
I think of the first
Time you took my hand
Fingers interlocked
All our wars we fought
And now here we stand
