Paradise Restored
While her two older sisters do
Their school work at the table,
One-year-old Madeline runs
Into the living room to join them.
There she is in her birthday suit,
Totally oblivious of all convention.
Like Adam and Eve before the Fall of Man,
She lives an Edenic existence.
Her world is an oasis of innocence,
A garden where (occasional) nakedness is the norm.
How green is the garden of the mind of a baby!
