Heartbeat Dance
Whispers dance like solemn threads
Heartbeats so soft they can’t be heard
Mind is alive but almost dead
Eyelids flutter like wings of a bird
A slithering weathered song I hear
Dancing, mindless, lost in tune
Smiling forever, acknowledge fear
Ringing expectance of disappointed ruin
Crushing rush of soft dismissal
A-wondering life upon that star
Finding no one else will listen
Knowing that distance is not so far
Each breath rattles, drawn out by force
Single memories leave an etch on skin
The shouting in the air is of a voice so hoarse
The planets shatter, another galaxy win
Heartbeats so soft they can’t be heard
Mind is alive but almost dead
Eyelids flutter like wings of a bird
A slithering weathered song I hear
Dancing, mindless, lost in tune
Smiling forever, acknowledge fear
Ringing expectance of disappointed ruin
Crushing rush of soft dismissal
A-wondering life upon that star
Finding no one else will listen
Knowing that distance is not so far
Each breath rattles, drawn out by force
Single memories leave an etch on skin
The shouting in the air is of a voice so hoarse
The planets shatter, another galaxy win
