Dress Down

Upon your smaller design,
I place your pattern in mine,
With the clothes we bought to help ease the parts of you.

But now our rags are not gold,
And our favourite clothes are so old,
So keep me as the ring we both know helped keep the parts of him.

So burn that cotton in time,
Scarves to warm that bloodline,
Your Gloves to put me to sleep,
You was never cold but you burned to touch like under that tree.

Go buy your summer uniform,
Ill keep my jacket against yours.
Hiding With a history book that's heavier than before.

So if you're in love with the night,
And still have your demons to fight,
Don't be a stranger in jeans,
Wear new looks, patch up the seems.
I choked up in these clothes but your weight on my sleeve was a ring.

For your threads all make up a part of me.
