Winning hearts and minds
Is there a single consciousness
not hardly
the heart wild and passionate
falls in love easily
doesn't care about the risks
the mind deliberate and cautious
weighing pros and cons
always second guessing
I think I've won her heart
but her mind gets in the way
or is it her mind that I've conquered
and her heart just isn't in it
no matter which it is
I still cannot win her heart and her mind together
or maybe
its my heart and mind that needs convincing
