Happily Ever After Part 2

Here I am in this tower
forever and ever, hour after hour.
I cannot leave
til I'm set free.
No one has come
to or from
this tower
behind the waterfall shower.
No one sees me
am I not pretty?
Am I not good enough
to steal someone's love
at first glance
even by chance?
Oh, wait!
Look straight!
There is a man
who possibly can
set me free
from this tower I cannot leave.
He's coming this way,
oh dear, what do I say?
He's looking up
to my window above.
He sees me,
am I pretty?
Is this it? Will it work this time?
Is this man destined to be mine?
He looks quite charming and handsome too...
"I wonder how *I* look to you...?"
Here it goes,
the door below is closed.
Can he open it to get inside
to this place I do reside?
He's coming up, oh dear!
a man has never been this near.
As I cross to his side
something behind his back he hides.
I open my mouth to express thanks
when suddenly out he yanks
not flowers nor a ring
but something else he did bring.
I don't understand what it is,
I have never seen a gift such as this.
He pushes a strange shaped button
between top and bottom
and I feel a sharp pang
after hearing a loud bang.
I look down and see... black,
nothing but black.
Hearing his hateful laughter
I know this is my Happily Ever After.....
