The Hands Of Grace

Today an Angel fell somewhere in town,  
let out a sigh, and then a cry, before She hit the ground.  
Her cry echoed throughout the city wide,  
And those who heard were struck with empty spaces deep inside.  
She layed there blue, a poisoned dart in wing,  
waiting, in Her eternal sleep, to hear the Reaper sing.  
But no tears fall for Her, so tragicly,  
She didnt have someone who cares, She lost Her family.  
She made choices throughout the life She lived,  
Choices that Her family just could not seem to forgive.  
They still dont know their Angel died today,  
She felt like She was all alone and She just flew away.  
I cried for Her as they zipped up the bag,  
Her name and life reduced to nothing more than a toe-tag.  
Today an Angel fell unto the ground,  
Jumped from the hands of Grace because no Love in Life She found.  
The only thing She found to hold her tight,  
Was the embrace of a Hero, which always left it's bite.  
So sad and lonely that girl must have felt,  
To draw the last spoon of poison and bite down on Her belt.  
But now tears dont fall, not Hers, anyway,  
She now rests in Her Haven and doesnt feel any Pain.  
She doesnt feel lonely or empty inside,  
She doesnt feel the regret or the shame She would hide.  
She doesnt worry about her scarred wings,  
Or what people might think of Her if they happen to see.  
She is Free.  
She is Free..  
Today an Angel fell here in my town,  
And, though She sighed, let out a cry, nobody heard a sound.  
But I saw Her and heard Her final cry,  
That's why I wrote this for Her, to show She was alive.  
To tell how an Angel named Grace took Her own life.
