Poison for Paradise

Polished silver, Shining gold, Gigantic houses
1, 2, 3 SOLD!
Your soul in the hands of the devil
All for the merchandise
Poison for Paradise

You trade the Poison for Paradise selling the innocent
Out of your window rimmed with painted gold
Instead of rain the dead now walk alone in search for brains
Children chase the living instead of runaway trains
Trade the Poison for Paradise now look at your world
All torn apart while you wish for a new start

Are you happy all alone with those paintings that stare
Touching your shallow heart "was it worth it," you say
Having you remain, all the rest...
Was it fair?
Gotta take the Poison for Paradise
Now that you've had it all its time to die

Rotting in hell where you belong
The sounds of their moaning leave you spent
The Devil's new favorite song
Forever in hell with the devil's great entice
Never forget how you took the Poison for Paradise
