The First Morning (My Year with You pt2)
I woke up in your bed
Not fully remembering why.
There was sand on the floor from our clothes
And a half empty bottle of Jack.
I turned over and saw you.
You were so beautiful asleep.
The soft curve of your face
And your closed eyes. I remember.
But what do you think now?
When you woke up, your eyelashes
Fluttered. I loved the simple gesture
Of you rubbing your eyes
And stretching. Morning
You said, smiling. Did you sleep well?
Yes, I said. With you.
She laughed and then took me
In her wonderful arms.
My heart sang. For now,
I had her and we had us.
She held me for a bit more
Then told me she was going to shower.
I waited for her, enjoying the smell
Of her on the sheets. When she came back,
I couldn't wait and kissed her hard.
Her mouth opened and I felt her tongue.
We lay on the bed. I kissed her all over
And heard her moan, then cry out
As I found her rosebud and worked it
Gently with my tongue. I could smell
Mint from the shower on her skin.
Her body tensed, her cries were louder.
I made her come, she told me
Please don't stop, don't stop.
Then she moved my head away from her.
I lay next to her. Her eyes were closed
And she was smiling.
Not fully remembering why.
